As the host of the Film Actually podcast, I watch a lot of films in a year. It kind of takes a toll on the passion I have for films when I am just applying the critical eye to everything.
So I have decided to watch a lot of movies for both the podcast, Film Actually but also just for me. I want to fall in love with movies again and my hope is, if I just watch films for the fun and love of watching movies, it should re-ignite the love of films that I once had.
I will keep track of every film I watch in 2011 as a recorded memory of the adventure and to find out how many films I actually watch.
So here are the rules: 1) All films recorded must be feature length movies, not TV episodes. They can be seen at the cinema or at home. 2) I must watch at least one film per day, more is better, but one is fine. 3) Every film I watch I must watch for the sheer pleasure of watching the film and finally 4) No rules to the type of films I watch, they can be classics, b grades or just plain awful.
